VINYLS

Vinyl materials are specifically designed for Gerber by 3-M for optimal printing, cutting, weeding and application. Premium Vinyl is the best high performance 2 mil cast film for all signs, banners, and vehicle usage, ideal for most commercial and industrial applications, indoors and out. This versatile material is capable of withstanding severe weather conditions. It is available in a spectrum of opaque and metallic colors with a gloss finish (matte available for black and white) with clear pressure-sensitive adhesive. Use on a wide variety of Subatrates-flat or simple curves-including glass, metals, acrylics, polycarbonates, fiberglass, painted surfaces and flat to riveted surfaces. Exceptional dimensional stability, durability and color consistency. Five to 7 years vertical exterior performance.

QUANTUM 2000 VINYL: When cost is of primary importance, yet quality must be first rate, consider this economy/intermediate 3.5 mil calendered film intended for interior and exterior signage, banners, window graphics, and point-of-purchase displays used on a wide variety of substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, fiberglass, plastics, glass, and moat non-porous painted surfaces. Available in a wide variety of popular matte and semi-gloss colors with clear pressure-sensitive adhesive. Up to 5 years vertical exterior performance.

QUANTUM 4000 VINYL is a polymeric intermediate/high performance calendered film. Different from quantum 2000 by featuring long-life 910ss in 2.5 mil thickness with 30 colors and outdoor life up to 5 years vertical exterior surface.

STATIC CLING Is a 7.5 mil highly-plaeticized vinyl deoigned to adhere to glass, metal and other clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces. Intended for interior use, it has been successfully used for temporary exterior graphics. Available in clear and white, but can be printed or have vinyl applied to it. Manufacturer does not guarantee exterior usage or where petrochemical contact may occur.

CONTROLTAC is a 2 mil vinyi with a repositionable pressure activated adhesive. These films are intended for use on large flat surfaces with and without rivets and corrugated surfaces. Perfect for covered trailers. Comes in nine colors and a vertical exterior performance of 5-7 years.

INSTACHANGE is a 5 mil removable vinyl used when graphics need to be changed often. Intended for use on vehicles, point-of-purchase and trade show graphics. Can be removed for up to two years with little or no adhesive residue. Comes in matte white and has up to 2 years vertical exterior surface durability.

FLUORESCENT is a specialty 2 mil film that is vibrant, attention-getting and provides excellent visibility. Comes in yellow orange, lemon yellow, lime green, blue, pink, and red orange. Has a 1 year vertical exterior performance.

LABEL STOCK is a polyester specifically designed for the production of commercial and industrial labels, decals and identification stickers. It comes in four colors: white or clear, 1 and 2 mil and is UL recognized. Brushed gold and silver are recommended for interior use only.

SECURITY LABEL STOCK is the same as the above with the addition of being tamper-resistant. If an attempt is made to remove the label, the topcoat peels away to reveal a label worded with "void" across it. Comes in 2 mil in white and chrome.

TRANSLUCENT FILM is 2 mil and designed for uee on internally illuminated signs, awnings and window graphics. Has a surface finish to eliminate glare. 5 year vertical exterior life, except for gold, which has a 3 year vertical exterior performance. Forty of the 50 colors simulate popular Pantone colors.

METALLIC FILM is a premium 2 mil vinyl with the addition of a metallic sparkle. These films are perfect for use on cars, trucks, boats, RVs and signs. Excellent durability with 5 years vertical exterior performance.

REFLECTIVE SHEETING is designed for high visibility, both day and night. The material has good flexibility for conformance to flat or moderately curved surfaces. 7 years vertical exterior performance on all colors except for black, which has a 5 year vertical exterior life.

GERBERVISION WINDOW FILM produces printed window graphics that are visible from the outside, while viewers inside can see through the window without the graphic being visible. Similar to a one-way mirror, this is made possible by tiny perforations that allow light to pass through. It is 3 mil thick and has a vertical exterior expectancy of 1 year. Comes in white.

REFLECTIVE GERBERYISION combines the ability of the perforated window film with a retroreflective film for visible graphics day and night. It is 6.5 mil thick, comes in white and lasts up to 3 years outdoors when applied vertically.

HOLOGRAPHIX FILM comes in 3.7 mil light-diffracting material. It is available in several different patterns giving a unique look to decals, labels and graphics. Interior apptication only.

GERBERGLOW is a 2.5 mil luminous film that glows in the dark for up to 30 minutes after charging it under normal lighting conditions for 3 minutes. Comes in yellow-green and is for interior use only.

SIGNGOLD is the only genuine 22 kt. goldleaf film. Real gold is permanently bonded to the underside of a 3 mil fluoropolymer film, which is ultraviolet light and chemical resistant. This film has a 10-14 year exterior performance.

LEXEDGE is a semi-rigid, 10 mil Lexan sheet with a custom-formulated surface for printed graphics. Can be used for nameplates, control panels, overlays and membrane switches.

OVERLAMINATES

ABRASION GUARD is a clear foil printed over color graphics likely to experience repeated handling or frequent contact. This clear topcoat produces graphics considerably more resistant to abrasion.

MATTE CLEAR is a clear foil printed over color graphics designed to reduce the gloss level by up to 60%.

GERBERGUARD is a clear, 4 mil protective film used for additional protection of graphics. It is recommended for use when printed graphics require protection for petroleum-based contaminants, other chemicals, or need increased abrasion resistance from severe handling conditions.

GERBER UVGUARD is a 1 mil, custom-formulated TEDLAR~ film developed for use with printed graphics and high performance films. It will offer resistance from harmful UV rays, environmental pollution and severe abrasion conditions. Allows application of previously not recommended graphics to horizontal surfaces, such as vehicle hoods, and graphics in extreme weather conditions, such as the desert southwest.

MAGNETICS

Magnetic materials are specifically designed for Gerber by 3-M and have a custom formulated smooth, matte white surface ready for application of vinyls or digital thermal printing. Can be painted. Good flexibility. Can be easily cut with scissors or knife. Excellent outdoor weatherability. permanent magnetic that will hold to iron filled materials. (not BONDO or other fillers!) Can also be used as a reusable stencil mask. Comes in three varieties.

AUTOMAG is 24 mil with 18 magnetic poles per inch. Size: 13" by the foot. Specially designed for vehicle applications. Can also be used for any other magnetic graphics. Up to five years exterior usage.

GERBERMAG is 15 mil with 12 magnetic poles per inch. Size: 13" by the foot. Designed for use as magnetic decals, business cards, and refrigerator magnet graphics. Up to five years exterior usage.

MAGNETIC SHEETING is 30 mil with 16 magnetic poles per inch. Size: 24" by the foot. For use when one wants to make their own graphics, or when the additional size is needed. Must be cut by hand.

MAGNETIC SIGNS

Vinyl or printed graphics can be produced on AutoMag for vehicle signs. Reproduce your business card or logo for specialty magnets that affix easily to refrigerators, filing cabinets, appliances, and other metal surfaces using GerberMag. Unique shapes can be contour cut. Recommended size should not exceed a 12" x 24'' rectangle.

SUBSTRATES

DIBOND is an aluminum composite material made of two lightweight sheets of .010" aluminum with a thermoplastic core, coated with white polyester paint. It makes a very durable indoor/outdoor sign. It is incredibly flat, light and strong, yet fabricates easily. It can be bent, routed, cut, drilled, and painted. Available in 2mm, 3mm or 4mm.

PVC BOARD is a rigid, very dense foam. Used for indoor signs. White is available in a wide range of thicknesses: 1mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm,10mm, and 13mm. Available in 3mm is Blue, Black, Red, Yellow, Green, Tan and Light Gray. In 5mm are Blue, Red, Green, Light Gray, and Yellow.

LEXAN POLYCARBONATE is UV-resistant and virtually unbreakable. Ideal for backlit signs, and indoor/outdoor sign applications. Five year warranty against breakage and color shift. Available in white, clear, blue, black, red, yellow, orange and green.

PLASTICOR is a corrugated plastic board. If is unaffected by water and can be used as a sturdy, temporary sign. Comes in a variety of thickness: 2mm,4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm. Available in white and an assortment of other colors depending on the thickness.
